Financial Criteria

Our partners and advisors have established a long and successful track record building companies into global and niche market leaders across a broad range of chemicals, materials, and related sectors. As an alternative investment firm, we find the following criteria to be most closely aligned with our investment approach:

Company Size: Lower-middle and middle market companies with revenues typically between $20 million and $1 billion, EBITDA up to $200+ million, and Enterprise Value up to $1+ billion. These are typically privately / family-owned businesses, corporate carve-outs, and public-to-privates.

Equity Investment: Our focus is on asset instead of size. We can make equity investments of $200 million to $300+ million per platform, with ability to significantly increase the investment by drawing upon our strategic co-investor base with whom we have strong relationships.

Industry: The broader US chemicals industry, while having the flexibility to invest globally.

Transaction Types: Specialty in buyout, recapitalization, turnaround, and growth equity investments
