Corporate Citizenship

Our success is also measured by our impact on our local communities. Investing in a sustainable manner is a major tenet of our philosophy. Our commitment to corporate citizenship and management of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues is deeply embedded in all our investments. We uphold the highest standards and invest only in companies that are sustainable and operate in an eco-friendly manner. As investors with a long term ownership model, we have the ability and responsibility to make a positive impact on the company, its stakeholders, and the communities it touches. As part of our due diligence, we perform a thorough analysis of relevant public health, safety, and social issues and continue to monitor them throughout our investment. We recognize that achieving sustainability is an ongoing process and we promote continuous environmental stewardship in our companies.

Principles for Responsible Investing:
1: Incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
2: Be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
3: Seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
4: Promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
5: Work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
6: Report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.

Launched in 2006, the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Initiative consists of a set of voluntary principles for investors to abide by. Formed by an international network of investors working together, the six principles for responsible investment were created as a framework for responsible investing. We recognize the importance of environmental, social and governance issues in our investment decision-making and ownership practices and are committed to upholding these principles in our private equity investments.
